2013 Season Information
Pool Opening and Closing:
The pool will open the Saturday of the Memorial Day Weekend, May 25 at 12 noon. The pool will close Monday, September 2 at 8:00 p.m.
Season Hours:
Memorial Day Weekend (5/25-5/27) 12 noon – 8 p.m.
Pre and Post Season Weekdays (5/28-6/1) (6/4-6/6) 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. (8/30-8/31) 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Weekdays and Weekends (5/26-5/28) (6/7-7/29) 12 noon – 9 p.m.
Weekdays and Weekends (8/1-8/29) 12 noon – 8 p.m.
Friday before Labor Day Weekend + Labor Day Weekend (8/31-9/3) 12 noon – 8 p.m.
Swim Team:
The Arden Sharks are looking forward to another great season. This year’s swim team enrollment materials and fee schedule will be sent to you under separate cover.
Passes:
Guest passes will be available for purchase by members at the following rates: Adults $10.00 and $7.00 for children aged 5-11. Last year’s passes will be honored. Please see a member of the Pool staff.
Board Meetings:
All swim club members are welcome to attend the monthly meetings held the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Lower Gild Hall (or poolside if weather permits). Dates of upcoming meetings: April 9, May 7, June 11, July 9, August 13, September 10, October 8 and November 12.

About The Arden Swim Club
The Arden Pool is located in a lovely, peaceful area behind the Gild Hall, in Arden, Delaware, just north of Wilmington. Beautiful trees provide cool, shaded areas. We have a picnic tables and chairs including one table with a chess/checker board. As well, there are plenty of unshaded areas for sun worshippers! There are weekly events, like Raft Night and swimming lessons.
Our Swim Team has swim meets in a five-week period in June through July. We usually have a Crab Feast during the summer.
Pool membership includes membership in the Arden Club. Concerts, plays, musicals, dinners, folk dancing, a library, and more are offered.
